Landrover was the origanal what? Guess what ha. The first landrover prototype was built on a jeep chasis. Verry funny and true. (I really enjoy this part)

I used to laugh at Samis. Until I sat a couple hours one Saturday on the trail and watched about 20 trucks maneuver up the falls just past Deep Creek. The two trucks that made it look easy were the Zuks. Perfect combo of light weight and short wheelbase = bouncing over the tuffest rock gardens.

Just shows you don't have to spend a fortune to have some good dirty fun! Just keep your arms and legs inside when.... :)

@ElFactorH they think so because offroading has no skill when it comes to a land rover because for every senario there is a switch to flip to get through it it's for the richy rich people with no skill

@ElFactorH Mate, Landrover were the Original and still the best, but seriously have you ever driven a D3 or D4, they shit over anything else on the market at the moment. Don't be ignorant until you've tried different. I love Suzukis too, they are awsome but old technology.

@liljim4 You won't hurt my feelings, Ima jeep man, but I know that there are many downsides to jeeps too, one of them is they are no longer light and nimble like they used to be, and like all sami's are. Scouts are pretty cool, but I tend to think of them much like early blazers and broncos, good midsized rigs. I gotta CJ, the rest of my club broncos, at a gas station a guy says to me, "must feel odd riding with all these binders." The ford guys weren't happy when they heard that. ;)

@l337pwnage I like my Samurai, Thank you. Amongst me and my friends, we have 7 or eight Samurais. Mine is lifted 3" at the moment, but is a work in progress. Charlie Daniels is "great" too! ;-)

@ElFactorH True, a Samurai is great for offroading, dependable. I'll always prefer a good old Defender though.

big engine, large tyres, light car formula. doors help quiet a lot to make the chassis more ridged and if you roll, saves your face.
